SOOC Plans Shot To Hell So Here´s A Rework Instead
Well, all my careful planning for this weekend´s SOOC shoot went completely up in smoke, so it´ll have to be a rework from 2009, which kind of defeats the whole purpose of the exercise but still “the best laid plans of mice and men……” I suppose!
This was taken in the summer of the year I upgraded from the 400D and was taken from the terrace of a house we rented at the bottom of the valley in Jalon, which was unbearably hot in the summer. The (unintentional) texturing comes from the massively high ISO, the data tells me it was an ISO 1000, so I guess I had the ISO set to Auto. I can remember almost nothing about this, I could´nt say if it was Tripod mounted or handheld.
Not quite sure why I used these settings but it´s quite effective with the CEP bi-color filter. Anyway I quite like it and at least I have´nt come up enrirely empty handed this weekend!
f/5, 1/1000 sec, ISO 1000, Canon 18-200mm@ 50mm, Color Efex Pro Bi-Colour filter.
