Old And New….Kew Bridge, London

I have an almost unconcious love of river bridges, i don´t know why, perhaps because i grew up by the river.¡ I liked the contrast of subject in this shot-Kew Bridge leading the eye to the new building development on the other side and then the old river barge moored there. The bridge looks quaint and gives a feeling of serenity to the scene but actually this is a road bridge across the Thames and it is chocabloc with cars from 8 am to 8 pm-sometimes on a really bad day it can take up to half an hour to cross-especially if there are roadworks going on, and anyone who knows London, knows there are always roadworks going on!
